Charles "Bud" Horton 1930 - 2005 Charles (Bud) Horton, age 74, of Grayson, KY, passed away Sunday, September 11th, 2005 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born October 8th, 1930 in Lost Creek, Carter County, KY, a son of the late C K and Emma Burke Horton. He was a retired farmer of Grayson, KY and a member of the First Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was his wife, Ollie Jane “Janie” Wooten Horton. His survivors include: His children: Barbara (and Phil) McCoy of Denton, KY Brenda (and Kelly) Newland of Grayson, KY Belinda (and Mike) Bradley of Morehead, KY Charles R. Horton Jr. of Grayson, KY Wayne, Robbie and Cindy of Florida Grandchildren: Mike Oppenheimer Jr., Jason Newland, Kelly Newland Jr. and Kaleb McCoy Great-Grandchildren: Charlie Oppenheimer and Andrea Newland Three sisters: Ruby Queen, Amanda Workman and Mary Riffe Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, September 14th, 2005 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Harry Sanders and Phil LeMaster, ministers. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, September 13th, from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Condolences can be made to the family at www.timeformemory.com/malone
