Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE CHRONICLE TELEGRAM (Elyria, Ohio) Friday, October 25, 1991 Althea Henderson, 82, of Lorain died Thursday at St. Joseph Hospital and Health Center after a long illness. Born in Carter County, Ky., she lived in Lorain since 1985. Mrs. Henderson was a member of Victory Baptist Temple, Elyria, and Seventh Street Christian Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Survivors include sons, Elmer of Lorain and Jack Crosby of Columbus; daughters, Rosemary Dyer of Columbus, Shirley Robbins of Lorain and Ethel Fannin of Mount Gilead; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Butler of Xenia. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Wylie, on Feb. 4, 1982. Services will be conducted at Ralph Scott Funeral Home, Portsmouth, with burial in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Ky., Schwartz, Spence & Boyer Home for Funerals, 1124 Fifth St., Lorain, is in charge of local arrangements.
