Kentucky GenWeb projectMae LeMaster 1904-2003 Mae LeMaster, 99, of Ashland, Ky., widow of Dock LeMaster, passed away in Oakmont Manor on Tuesday, Nov. 25. She was born Feb. 17, 1904, to Robert and Elnora Haywood of Carter County, Ky. She was preceded in death by a son, Dock Jr. of Anderson, S.C.; one infant daughter, Garnet LeMaster; grandson, Michael Rigsby; granddaughters, Marcia Jean LeMaster and Rise' Elaine Stephens; and great-grandson, Don Marc Salley. She is survived by Edna Rigsby of Richmond, Ky., Eula Bea Hafey of Oxford, Conn., Phyllis Slone of Old Fort, N.C., Joan and son-in-law Ed Stephens of South Shore, Ky., Elaine Dunger of Spartanburg, S.C., Donna and son-in-law Ned Druell of Spartanburg, S.C., Durward and daughter-in-law Norma LeMaster of Lincoln City, Ore., Henry and daughter-in-law Mary Ann LeMaster of South Point, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Guyneth LeMaster of Anderson; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She was a charter member of Blackburn Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Miller Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev. Ron Riley and the Rev. Edwin LeMaster officiating with burial to follow in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be two hours before service time Friday at the funeral home.
