Kentucky GenWeb projectNaomi Arnett 1917 - 2005 Naomi Arnett, age 88, of Grayson, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 19th, 2005, in Carter Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Arnett was born May 2nd, 1917, at Carter County, KY, a daughter of the late Charlie and Essie Wilson Grizzell. She was a former clerk, was formerly employed with the Shangri La Restaurant and a member of the Dixie Park Freewill Baptist Church. Preceding her in death was her husband, Oral Arnett; two sisters, Edna Banks and Mattie Harris and 1 brother, Hughie Grizzell. Her survivors include: one daughter: Alberta Cotton of Grayson. One son: John Steele of Grayson. Three sisters: Juanita Jackson and Marie Bowen both of Grayson and Goldie Hay of Leon. Two brothers: Wayne Grizzell of Ewing, KY and Jr. “Harlan” Grizzell of Grayson. Eight Grandchildren, Five Great-grandchildren and Three Great-Great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 22nd, 2005 at 1:00pm at the Malone Funeral Home with Terry Harris and Tim Hall, ministers. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, July 21st, from 6-9pm at the funeral home. Condolences can be made to the family at www.timeformemory.com/malone
