A native of Carter, he was b. Jan. 1894 son of Sartin and Emma Lewis Greene. Surviving are his wife, Sandless; two children, Howard of Dayton and Mrs. Thelma Shumate, three brothers, Alva, Willard, Elmer Greene and three sisters Mrs. Olive Fultz, Mrs. Effie Carpenter, and Mrs. Alma Henderson.
