Richard Gorman

Richard E. Gorman, 54, of Sebring, died Dec. 12, 2004, in Sebring.

Born in Olive Hill Ky., he had been a resident of Sebring since 1986, coming from Mansfield, Ohio.

He was employed as a press operator by Westinghouse. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila; daughters, Terri Johnston and Sonya Prescott of Sebring; son, Derek of Sebring; 
stepfather, Clarence Smith of Sebring; brothers, Phillip Steagull of Waverly, Tenn., Donnie of Lakeland and Tim Smith of Avon Park; 
sisters, Brenda of Bartow and Bonnie Crawford of Avon Park; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. today at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Sebring. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel, 
with the Rev. Darrell Peer officiating. Military services will be conducted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4300 Honor Guard. 
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery in Sebring.
