      William Lewis Garris, 76, of Redrick, Florida, a former Reinersville (Morgan County) resident, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Vernon 
      from an apparent heart attack. 

      He was born June 24, 1895, in Olive Hill, Ky., a son of George and Judy Garris. 

      Mr. Garris was a retired farmer and store operator, a member of Citra, Fla., Baptist Church and a veteran of World War I. 

      Surviving are his widow, Sabra Binion Garris; three sons, Noah of Beverly, Raymond of Baton Route, La., and Charles of Marengo Route 1; 
      eight grandchildren; and a brother, Russell of Marengo. 

      Friends may call at McCurdy Funeral Home in Beverly where services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today with Rev. James Bullock and 
      Rev. George Lee officiating. Burial will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery.
