Ronald Floyd (1941-2007)

Ronald Roscoe Floyd, 66, of Grayson passed away Sept. 21, 2007, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.

The Boyd County native was born Feb. 15, 1941, the son of Martha Hay Wallace and the late Lonnie Floyd.

He was preceeded in death by one son, Lonnie Earl Floyd; one sister, Inez Wilburn; and two brothers, Tommy Floyd and Junior Floyd.

He was the husband of the late Bonnie Steele Floyd.

He was a retired bus driver for Carter County schools.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two daughters and one son-in-law, Melissa Fields and Beth and Manuel Hall, all of Grayson; 
one sister, Phyllis Sexton of Grayson; one brother, Kenny Floyd of Grayson; four grandchildren, Derek, Lonica, Alan and Aleisha; 
and one great-granddaughter, Alena.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, with Delmar Rogers officiating. 
He will be laid to rest in Lonnie Earl Memorial Park.
