Sandra Copenhaver
 
LAKE JACKSON, Texas — Sandra Darlene Copenhaver, 63, of Lake Jackson passed away Friday, April 28, 2006, at the 
Triumph Hospital Southwest in Sugar Land, Texas. 
 
Sandra was born in Lawton, Ky., to Chester and Jessie Flannery. 
 
She married Darrell Copenhaver on June 26, 1965, in Warren, and they have been residents of Lake Jackson since 1997. 
Sandra enjoyed crocheting, genealogy and spending time with her granddaughters. 
 
She is survived by her husband, Darrell Copenhaver; a son, Darrell E. Copenhaver and his wife, Kristina Johnston; 
two granddaughters Jessica and Sarah Copenhaver, all of Lake Jackson; two brothers, Robert Flannery and wife, Marilyn, 
and Kenneth Flannery and wife, Helen; and three sisters, Delores and husband, Ray Barnes, Martha and husband, 
Jim Rogers, and Lou Ann and husband, George Popescu. 
 
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Sparks.
 
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at the First United Methodist Church in Lake Jackson 
with Pastor Charles Geller officiating. 

Interment will be at the Houston National Veterans Cemetery in Houston at a later date. 
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Lakewood Funeral Chapel, 98 N. Dixie Drive, Lake Jackson, Texas 979-297-6464.
