Kentucky GenWeb projectTHE MANSFIELD NEWS JOURNAL (Mansfield, Ohio) Monday, September 1, 1969 Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at the Free Will Baptist Church on Dean Rd. for Estill Fife, 54, of Mt. Gilead who died Saturday evening. A native of Lewis County, Ky., Mr. Fife came to this vicinity 30 years ago from Olive Hill, Ky. He was employed as a security guard at Hercules-Galion Products, Inc. Survivors include his wife Essie; five daughters, Mrs. Ruby Palson of Galion, Mrs. Violet Umfleet of Mifflin, Mrs. Wilma Spurlock of Mt. Gilead, Mrs. Sarah Kindler in Colorado, Mrs. Mary Burton of Mt. Gilead; five sons, Clarence Fife of Crestline, James Fife and William Manning of Mt. Gilead, Ora Manning in Indiana, Richard Manning of Galion; one sister, Mrs Anne Back, Olive Hill, Ky.; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Burial will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery at Olive Hill. Friends may call at the Kubach Funeral Home, Galion.
