Franklin Felty, 61 of Grayson, passed away Friday, June 29th, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. 

He was born in Carter County, August 8, 1945, a son of the late Mason Franklin and Goldie Burton Felty. He was the husband of Bonnie White Felty. 

Frank had worked for the Carter County Maintenance Department and he was a disabled United States Army Veteran, serving in the Vietnam War. 
He had received a Purple Heart. 

He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his 2 daughters, Leslie (O.J.) Daniel of Cannonsburg and Frankie Colligs of Grayson; 
his 3 sons, Mason (Amy) Felty of Rush, George (Kim) Felty of Grayson and Curtis (Jody) Felty of Grayson, his sister Marcella Gollihue of Grayson, 
his brother Charles "Chank" Felty of Grayson and his 9 grandchildren: Noah, Chelsea, Marvin, Reid, Josi, Levi, Brady, Macy and Skylar. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Bush and his 2 brothers, Ray and Bill Felty. 

Services for Frank will be conducted on Tuesday, July 3rd, at 2:00pm, at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson. George Boggs will officiate. 
He will be laid to rest in the Burton Family Cemetery on Canoe Run. Graveside Military Rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #138, 
Olive Hill. Friends may call between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm, Monday, July 2nd at the funeral home.
