Beulah Evans Maggard - 1915-2007

Beulah Evans Maggard, 91, of Grayson, Ky., went to live in peace with the Lord with her family by her side on March 26, 2007.

Beulah was born Oct. 18, 1915, in Elliott County, Ky., the daughter of the late Clifford and Minnie Lewis Evans.

Beulah was also preceded in death by three brothers, Earnest Evans, Glen Evans and Bert Evans; and a sister, Gladys Walker.

Beulah is survived by three sons, Lenoard (Doris) Maggard, Earnest (Virginia) Maggard and Steve (Liz) Maggard, all of Grayson; 
two daughters, Arlene Labelle of Massachusetts and Elaine (Mose) Roark of Grayson; four brothers, Emil (Margaret) Evans of Maryland, 
Lowell Evans of Sandy Hook, Ky., Drew Evans of Elliott County and Bill (Linda) Evans of Louisville, Ky.; 
and two sisters, Geneva Porter of Webbville, Ky., and Ethel Porter of Sandy Hook.

Beulah was the grandmother of 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews who were all very dear to her.

Services for Beulah will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 29, at Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson. 
She will be laid to rest in the cemetery erected in her name, the Beulah Maggard Family Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, March 28, at the funeral home.
