She was a member of the First Christian Church in Leesburg and a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary Post No. 4705 in Leesburg. Survivors include two sons; Charles R. "Bud" of Leesburg and Thomas D. of Fruitland Park; two daughters, Ruth H. Goshorn of Leesburg and Vera H. Figgatt of Longwood; a brother Delbert W. Dixon of Ashland, Ky; a sister Mary Sparks of Lake City; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a great grandchild.
