Billie Marie Kuhns 

Billie Marie Kuhns, 77, of Kingwood, died Wednesday, April 12, 2000, at Monongalia General Hospital. 

She was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Olive Hill, Ky., daughter of the late James and Althea Blackenbeckler Day. 

She was employed as a nurse's aide at Preston Memorial Hospital for six years and as the office manager for Morgan's Foodland for 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was Methodist. 

She is survived by twin daughters and spouse, Joyce Ann Chustz and Janice and Donald Buvalla, all of Kingwood; three brothers, Jim Day and Robert Day, both of Punxsutawney, Pa., and Darrell Day, of Waynesburg, Pa.; a sister, Eileen Booze, of Waynesburg; six grandchildren, Christopher Chustz, Catherine Cantrell, Donald John Buvalla Jr., David Harold Buvalla and twins, Derrek Buvalla and Dayna Wagner; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Popeye" Kuhns, in February 1977; and a brother, Jack Day. 

Friends may call at James G. Lobb Funeral Home, Kingwood, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, until 1 p.m. service with the Rev. K. Almond officiating.
