Frances VanAtta

Frances I. VanAtta, 70, a resident of Taylor House-Findlay, died at 6:20 a.m. Sunday Sept. 5, 2004. 

She was born Aug. 10, 1934 in Grayson, KY to Levi & Mary Louise "Lula" (Rice) Davis. She first married John Stover, then Leo Wallace Eady 
and he preceded her in death. On Feb. 14, 1967 she married James F. VanAtta and he died Jan. 18, 1988. 

Surviving are two sons, Douglas R. (Nancy) VanAtta & Joseph L. Eady both of Findlay; three daughters, Deborah (John) Kieffer, 
Donna (Steve) Zoll both of Findlay and Faith Eady-Fraley of Carey, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, 
Homer Davis of Olive Hill, Ky, Jake Davis of Hitchings, Ky; two sisters, Bertha Carter of Grayson, Ky, and Oma Adkins of Evermans Creek, Ky. 

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Davis; four sisters, Mary Ellen Floyd, Virgie Shearer, Opal Forrest & Winnie Cramer. 
Frances was a private duty nurse, before working at Winebrenner Haven and she retired in 1981 from Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center. 
She was a graduate of the Bowling Green School of Nursing, member of the Bible Methodist Church, 
and a telephone operator from 1952 -1956 with ATT in Detroit, MI. 

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday and 12:00 noon till 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00P.M Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Christopher D. Cravens, officiating. 

Burial will be in Knollcrest Gardens, east of Findlay. Memorial may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice, the Taylor House 
or the American Lung Association of Ohio. Online condolences may be made at coldrencrates.com
