Kentucky GenWeb projectPortsmouth Times Tuesday, Apr. 13, 1948 John Wesley Danner John Wesley Danner, 73, died at 9:15 a.m. today at his residence, 1527 Ninth st. He was born at Wesleyville, in Carter Co., Ky., Feb. 12, 1875. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie N. Danner, and the following children: Harlan of Wheelersburg, Arthur and Robert of Portsmouth, Elmer of Egbert Stop, George of Schenectady, N.Y., Vivian at home, Mrs. Mabel Pfiel of Delmar, N.Y. and Mrs. Edna Mauntel, 1729 Seventh st. He also leaves four brother, Noah of Morehead, Walter and Daniel of Wesleyville and Frank of Portsmouth,; two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Parrish of St. Louis and Mrs. Teressie William of Newberry, Mich. Mr. Danner was a member of Temple Baptist church. The pastor, Rev. E. V. Howell will conduct last rites Friday at 10 a.m. at Eric funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial park cemetery.
