Lloyd Cox - 1925-2007

Lloyd Cox, 81, of Grayson, Ky., passed away Wednesday evening, Jan. 24, 2007, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
He was born July 9, 1925, in Grahn, Ky., a son of the late Guy and Grace Dickerson Cox.
He was formerly employed with the Kentucky Department of Highways and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Caudill Cox, and two brothers, James O. Cox and Odis F. Cox.
His survivors include two sons, James Cox of Grayson and Tommy Cox of Grahn, Ky.; three daughters, Christy Cox of Grahn, Sandra Houston of California and Becky Oney of Olive Hill, Ky.; three grandchildren, James R. Cox and Dustin L. Cox, both of Grayson, and Angela R. Payne of Ashland, Ky.; three great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson with Lewis Davis, minister. Burial will be in Littleton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today, Jan. 26, and after noon Saturday at the funeral home.
