Mae C. Burton Mae C. Burton of Grayson Ky., went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 1, 2007, in King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Abner and Nora Pettrey Conley. She was retired from Kentucky Christian University as a cook and formerly worked for the Carter County School District at Prichard. She was a member of Stinson Church of Christ since 1951. She was preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Conley, and two brothers, Sisrow and John Conley. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clayton W. Burton; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ervin Lee Claxon of Lexington, Ky.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Frederick and Joan Burton of Carter and Mick and Kimberly Burton of Grayson; five grandchildren, Brooke Claxon, Pat Burton, Mike Burton, Tommy Burton and Derrick Willis; and six great-grandchildren, Reid Burton, Rylee Burton, Tristan Burton, Samuel Burton, Dawson Graber and Dara Mae Willis. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by ministers Jim and John Burton. Entombment will be in East Carter County Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
