Norman Vernon Colley      
1933 - 2005 

Norman Vernon Colley, 72, of Willard, KY died Saturday, November 26 at the home of his son, Jim Colley. 

Mr. Colley was born July 17, 1933, in Iron Hill, KY, the son of the late Tom and Martha Kibbey Colley. 

He was a Korean War Veteran and had been employed as a boilermaker for 25 years with Local #105 before retiring. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Georgia Colley; three brothers – Otto Colley, Lawrence Colley, and Wesley Colley; 
four sisters – Edith Bell Colley, Dutchie Colley McDavid, Maggie Colley, and Pauline Colley; and one granddaughter, Donna Canterbury. 

He is survived by two brothers, Sonny Colley of Carter City, KY and David Colley of Lawrenceburg IN; 
four sisters – Laura Prichard of Batavia OH, Hazel Harlow of Grayson KY, Debbie Burton of Damron Branch KY, and Rosie Corpuz of Charleston SC. 

Four children – Jim Colley of Willard KY, Michael Colley of Denton KY, Violet Vago of Owingsville KY, and Rosie Gollihue of Willard KY. 
He leaves behind ten grandchildren – James Clinton Colley, Randall Vernon Colley, James Michael Bowen Colley, Amber Geraldine Colley, 
Jonathon Grady Vago, Sarah Cassidy Vago, Kibbey Dawn Gollihue, Brea Loraine Colley, Dustin Gollihue, and Melissa Branham. 
He was great-grandfather to Harmonie, Nathaniel, Jacob, and Shayla Colley, Nikki and Krystal McWhorter, Tess DeWeese, and Austin, Dillon, 
and Logan Canterbury. 

Services will be conducted Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Malone Funeral Home by the minister Leonard Gollihue. 
Burial will be in the Church Family Cemetery in Willard, with military rites conducted by the VFW of Grayson.
