Lillian McCoy - 1914-2007

Mrs. Lillian R. Colley McCoy, 93, of McCoy Drive, Olive Hill, Ky., went home to be with the Lord on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, 2007, 
in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. 

Mrs. McCoy was born Sept. 20, 1914, in Carter County, Ky., a daughter of the late Bruce and Bertha Howard Colley. 

Lillian was a Christian and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her. 

She was a homemaker and had worked for 50-plus years in the sewing industries as a seamstress and floor lady. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles McCoy Jr.; a son, Jackie Richard McCoy; 
a son-in-law, Roy E. Waugh; five brothers, Frank Colley, Wade Colley, Woody Colley, Dick Colley and Oney Colley; 
and two sisters, Lorriane Colley and an infant sister. 

She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Phyllis Waugh and Patty and Randy Hamilton, all of Olive Hill, and Carol Stone of Lake Orion, Mich.; 
a brother, Joe Colley of Linden, Calif.; a sister, Roxie Kent of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of extended family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill by Brother Randy Binion and Brother Gary Sparks. 
Burial will be in McFerren Cemetery on Three Pines Road in Olive Hill.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today, all day Wednesday and until services Thursday at the funeral home.

Phillip McCoy, Shannon Hamilton, Brandon Hamilton, Rick Waugh, Bryce Waugh and Justin Stapleton will serve as pallbearers. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Dearl McCoy, Rick Lewis, Mark Dyer, Randy T. Hamilton, Ronnie Greenhill, Joe Savage, Donnie Stapleton and Jack Colley.
