Mary E. Castle Stringer 

Born – 1912

TELFORD, TERRACE - Mary E. Castle Stringer, 94, of Telford Terrace, died Tuesday, March 20.

A native of Grayson, Mary Elizabeth Castle was born on December 3rd, 1912. 

Ms Stringer attended Grayson Grade School, Prichard High School and was a graduate of Morehead State College 
and was an educator for 42 years in both Grayson and Hazard. She was a member of the First Methodist Church.

Mrs. Stringer is survived by her granddaughter Catherine (Steve) Stringer Robinson, a daughter-in-Law, Brenda Stringer Ault, 
two great-grandchildren, Chase and Alexis Robinson all of Richmond. She is also survived by a niece and nephew. 
Mrs. Stinger was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Etta Stanley Castle, her husband John Curtis Stringer, her son, John Curtis Stringer II.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 22, at the First Methodist Church in Grayson. Dennis Brewer officiated the service. 
Burial followed in the Carter County Memorial Gardens, in Grayson. The Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home, Richmond, is conducting services.
