Wayne Carroll, Ashland Native, Dies Suddenly -  

Wayne Carroll, 54, of 425 S. Ohio St., Columbus, died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. He ws stricken while operating his automobile and died shortly after 
in a Columbus hospital.     

A native of Ashland, Mr. Carroll was born April 30, 1913, a son of the late Landon and Martha Coleman Carroll.     

He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Marine Corps, and moved to Columbus from Ashland 18 years ago. He was a painting contractor. 

Surviving are two sons, Nicholas Wayne and Charles Landon Carroll, both at home; four daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Sue Burcik of Columbus, 
and Misses Martha Sola, Mary Ann, and Linda Sue Carroll at home; a brother, Clarence Carroll of Ashland, and two sisters, 
Mrs. Maude King and Mrs. Anna Brown, both of Ashland.     

The body is at the John Steen Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
