OBIT -

Ray Elwood Carroll, 69, of Grayson, died Wednesday at his home.     
Mr. Carroll was born Feb. 24, 1922, in Carter County, a son of the late Oscar 
and Nancy Parsons Carroll.     

Surviving are his wife, Cleo Stevens Carroll of 
Mansfield, Ohio; five sons, Billy Carroll, Lowell Carroll, and Larry Carroll, 
all of Mansfield, James Carroll of Lawrenceburg, and Kenneth Carroll of Berea; 
two daughters, Mary Adkins and Janet Fyffe, both of Manfield; three sisters, 
Nixola Issacs of Hitchins, Kathleen Grizzell of Willard, and Christine Mosier 
of Olive Hill; and two brothers, Earcel Carroll of Pontiac, Mich. and Ora 
Carroll of Grahn.      

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday at Globe 
Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill by Rick Pelphrey, minister. Burial will be in 
Carroll Cemetery.    

 Friends may call after 6 p.m. today and anytime Saturday 
at the funeral home.
