OBIT - Frederick Cecil Carroll - Frederick Cecil Carroll, 85, Grayson, died at 10 a.m. Friday at his residence following an extended illness. Born July 21, 1885, in Carter County, he was a son of the late Richard and Mary Summers Carroll. He was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church and was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lena Dean Carroll; two daughters, Mrs. Opal Oldfield of Cincinnati and Mrs. Jean Fair of Tipp City, O.; four sons, Elton Carroll of Belan, N.M., George and Glen Carroll, both of Grayson, and Frederick Carroll of Dayton, O.; two sisters, Mrs. Matttie Porter of Grayson and Mrs. Ida Hendricks of Middletown, O., 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Smith Branch Enterprise Baptist Church by the Rev. Clavis Adkins. Burial will be in Grayson Memorial Cemetery.
