1927-1999 - Grayson - 

Ethel Verna Carroll Bond, 72, of Grayson, died Monday, June 28 in Pulleys Health Care Center in Burlington, Ohio.     

Mrs. Bond was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Stinson, a daughter of the late Daniel Boone "Scott" and Maggie Swint Carroll.     

She was a homemaker and member of the Trinity Christian Fellowship in Ashland.      

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bond in 1991; a grandson, William Lawrence Bond Jr. in 1988; one sister, Ruby Carroll; 
and five brothers, Leonard Carroll, Phillip Carroll, Mason Carroll, Ran Carroll and Lawrence Carroll.     

Surviving are five sons, William L. Bond, Melvin B. Bond, Robert A. Bond, Charles Patrick Bond and Ronald G. Bond, all of Grayson; 
a sister, Lacy Easterling of Grayson; a brother, Edgar Carroll of Rush; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.     

Funeral Services were conducted Thursday, July 1 at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Greg Fuller, minister. Burial wil be in Kouns Family Cemetery.
