Kentucky GenWeb projectElwood Carroll 1927 - 1991 Elwood Carroll, 64 of Olive Hill, died Monday in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. Mr. Carroll was born Feb. 20, 1927 in Carter County, a son of the late Frank and Inez Littleton Carroll. He was a retired employee of CSX at the Raceland Car Shops and a member of Gregoryville Christian Holiness Church. Surviving are his wife, Pauline James Carroll, a son, Rodney Elwood Carroll of Grahn, four brothers, Sidney Carroll of Grahn, and Vaugn Carroll, Ercel Carroll, and B.J. Carroll all of Mansfield, Ohio; and four sisters, Jessie Bellew, June Fultz and Ruthie King, all of Grayson, and Martha Wilson of Olive Hill. The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill by Lewis Davis and Mason Brown (supposed to be Branham), ministers. Burial will be in Carroll cemetery. Friends may call after 7 tonight at the funeral home. (As printed April 30, 1991)
