Charles B. Carroll 

1936-2004 

Charles B.Carroll, 67, of Ashland, Ky., husband of Margaret Evans Carroll, passed away Sunday morning, March 7, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital following a long illness. 

Charles was born March 14, 1936, at Stinson Creek in Carter County, Ky., a son of the late Mason and Thelma Brainard Carroll. 

He was retired from A.C. Lawrence Leather Co. and was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Yvonne Carroll in 1972. 

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Chuck Carroll and his wife, Jennifer, of Brownsburg, Ind.; a brother, Joe Vernon Carroll of Grayson, Ky.; a sister, Faye Conley of Grayson; and three grandchildren, Hannah Paige, Nathan Lee and Lillian Grace Carroll. 

Committal services will be Thursday, March 11, 2004, at 11 a.m. at the Cribbs Hill Cemetery. 

Friends may call tonight at the Preston Family Funeral Home in Ashland from 6 to 9 p.m.

He was a great grandson of Daniel Boone and Amanda Simmons Carroll.
