OBIT - Blanchard Edward Carroll, 63, Switzer, W. Va., died Tuesday at his residence. Mr. Carroll was born Oct. 19, 1910, in Louisa, a son of George Carroll of Grayson and the late Mae Lester Carroll. he was a retired miner. Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Mrs. Bernice Jordan Carroll; a daughter, Mrs. Junior Adkins of Louisa; two sons, Gary Carroll of Ashland and Glenn Carroll of Louisa; a stepson, Gary Jordan of switzer, W. Va.; four sisters, Mrs. O. J. Lawson of Grayson, Mrs. G. S. Wilson of Lexington, Mrs. J. D. Shimble of Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Henry Compton of Louisa; and two brothers, Willie R. Carroll of Mt. Celemens, Mich., and George Russell Carroll of St. Albans, W. Va. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Young Funeral Home in Louisa. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
