Arvil Carroll, 73, of Grayson, died Friday in King's Daughters' Medical Center.     

Mr. Carroll was born July 18, 1918, in Carter County, a son of the late Noah Washington and Jessie Scott Carroll.    

 He was a retired carpenter and was of the Christian faith.     

Surviving are his wife, Leah Everman Carroll; three brothers, Carmel Carroll of Missouri, and Ernest Carroll and Noah Carroll, both of Kissimmee, Fla.; 
a sister, Eunice Bloomfield of Kissimmee; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.     

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson by Ron Arnett, minister. Burial will be in the Everman Cemetery.     

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
