Kentucky GenWeb projectMaxine Burkitt - 1911-2007 Maxine Caines Burkitt, 95, died in February 2007 in Murrieta, Calif. She was born in Olive Hill, Ky., in November 1911. Her husband, Robert Burkitt, preceded her in death in 1970. She lived in Ashland for many years. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth, Ohio. Burial will be in a Lucasville, Ohio cemetery following the service. Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valleys, 28127 Bradley Road, Sun City, CA 92586.
