Kentucky GenWeb projectManuel G. Burton The Ashland Daily Independent 12-10-1979 Manuel G. Burton 59 RT 2 Grayson died Monday in Huntington VA Medical Center. He was born Feb. 10, 1920 at Garret, a son of the late Noah and Jennie Adams Burton. He was a Veteran of WWII and an engineer aide for Ky. Dept. Of Transportation. Surviving are his wife Maxine Wright Burton; four sons William Glen and Michael Lee Burton both of Willard, Manuel K. Burton of Hickory Hills Ill, and Charles H. Burton of Summitt; a daughter Mrs. James Weber of Palo Heights Ill; a stepsister Leatha Naughton of Chicago; six grandchildren. Services were conducted at Willard Christian Church by Bob Waggoner. Burial was in Carter County Memory Gardens. Malone Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
