Robert Lee Burnett - 1932-2006

Robert Lee Burnett, 74, of Fontana, Calif., formerly of Grayson, Ky., died Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at his residence.
He was born April 30, 1932, in Iron Hill, Ky., a son of the late Hubert and Audry Mae Carroll Burnett.
He was an electric linesman with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 47 and a U.S. Army veteran. 
He was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge 863, American Legion Post 0422 and the Eagles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Burnett; 
a son, Robert Douglas Burnett; a brother, Clyde Burnett; and a sister, Pauline Burnett.
His survivors include a son, Kenneth Lee Burnett of McDonald, Ohio; 
a granddaughter, Lauvern Andrea Burnett; three brothers, Paul Burnett, Jack Burnett and Richard Burnett, all of Grayson; 
four sisters, Lillie Ryder of South Vienna, Ohio, Louise McGlone and Garnet Messer, both of Grayson, and Hazel Messer of Olive Hill, Ky.; 
his caregiver of 20 years, Mina Hernandez of California; and good friends of 50 years, Leo and Fay Jacques of California.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Dave Braun and Bill Burnett, ministers. 
Burial will be in Burnett Family Cemetery in Iron Hill.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, at the funeral home.
