Kentucky GenWeb project5/6/2004 Landis Burge Landis Burge, 57, of Marion, Ohio, died Sunday morning, May 2, at his residence. His death was natural yet unexpected. He was born in Grayson, Ky., to the late Roy and Lottie (McGlone) Burge. Landis worked at Bucyrus Blades for the past 12 years and enjoyed the outdoors life. He is survived by two sons, Dustin L. Burge of Marion and Christopher Mark Burge and his wife, Heather, of New Washington, Ohio; one grandson, Mason Burge of New Washington; four brothers, Dewie Burge of Mansfield, Ohio, Wayne Burge and his wife, Ginny, of Grayson, Clarence Burge and his wife, Darlene, of Marion and Larry Burge of Caledonia, Ohio; four sisters, Roberta Gross of Marion, Phyllis Felty of Mansfield, Shirley Davis and her husband, Herb, of Grayson and Carolyn Brown of Greenup, Ky. Along with his parents, Landis was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Myers and Ruth Felty. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at Wise Funeral Service in Bucyrus, (419) 562-6811, where the funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Ray LaSalle officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Gardens in Marion. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
