Kentucky GenWeb projectWILLIAM BUCK CARTER COUNTY NATIVE DIES IN TENNESSEE Special to the Independent Ashland (KY.) Daily Independent Monday Evening, April 22, 1940 GRAYSON, Ky. William Buck, 77, uncle of Carter County Judge William Buck, died Sunday at his home in Oliver Springs, Tenn. He was born and reared in Carter County, a son of Henry and Eliza Buck and had lived in Oliver Springs for the past 35 years. Surviving are the wife and two children, one sister, Mrs. Carrie Gee, and five brothers, Charles, Tim, Cassie, Fred and Dr. Buck.
