Charles Bond, 68, of Willard, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, at his home.     

Mr. Bond was born July 3, 1923, at Denton, a son of the late Richard and Della Potter Bond.    

He was a self-employed saw mill operator and a US Army veteran of World War II.
     
Surviving are his wife, Ethel Carroll Bond; five sons, William Bond and Robert Bond, both of Ashland, Melvin Bond of Huntington, W. Va. 
and Charles Bond and Ronald Bond, both of Willard; two sisters, Mary Damron of Grayson and Betty Lucas of Denton; two brothers, Richard Bond Jr. 
and O.R. Bond, both of Hitchins; 16 grandchildren; and six great granchildren.     

The funeral was conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, Oct. 20, at Malone Funeral Home in Grayson by Terry Harris, minister. Burial was in 
Kouns Family Cemetery at Reedville.
