Kentucky GenWeb projectRobert Bloomfield, 77 CARTER COUNTY, Ky. -- Robert Lee Bloomfield, 77, of Carter County, died Jan. 25, 2005, following a lingering illness. Born in Lewis County, Ky., he retired from H.J. Heinz Co. in Holland after 22 years of employment. He was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Luther Lee; two grandchildren, Daniel and Pamela Lee; and one great-grandchild, Tabitha Boeve. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Grace; children, Gary and Emma Bloomfield of Holland, Robert and Sabina Bloomfield of Fennville, Mark and Myrtle Bloomfield of Holland, Donna Lee of Olive Hill, Ky., Sarah and Clifford Mulcahey of Saugatuck, and Michael and Brenda Van Tubergen of Holland; half brother, Morris Bloomfield of Olive Hill, in-laws, Ora and Katie Cotcamp of Olive Hill, and Madge Brammer of Peach Creek, W.Va.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at New Beginnings Assembly of God in Grayson with Kyle Burchett and Roger Nolte officiating. Burial will be in Arms Cemetery, Carter City. Visiting is 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Sparks Funeral Home.
