WILLIAM L. "BILL" BLEVINS SR., 89, of Huntington, W.Va., widower of Betty Alene Huff Blevins, 
died Sunday, September 23, 2007, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. 

Private graveside services will be conducted at Grayson Memorial Park, Grayson, Ky., with Rev. Trent Eastman officiating. 

He was born September 6, 1918, in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late William R. and Golda Lewis Blevins. 

Also preceding in death was a daughter, Elizabeth Blevins Fisher. Bill was a resident of Huntington for many years 
and at the time of his death he resided at the Woodlands Retirement Community. He was a retired Divisional Sales Manager for Pillsbury Mills Company, 
a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church, and a member of Riviera Golf course for many years. 

Survivors include one son, Bill Blevins Jr. of Huntington; three grandchildren, Matt Fisher of Del Rio Texas, Nick Fisher of San Francisco, Calif., 
and Anne Blevins of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Thelma Rayburn of Olive Hill, Ky.; one brother, John D. Blevins of Lexington, Ky.; 
four great-grandchildren; a loyal friend, Harry Ison of Lavalette, W.Va. There will be no visitation. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Rd., Huntington, WV 25702 
or the charity of one's choice. Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, is in charge of arrangements.
