Two lists of persons from Carter County alleged to have served in the Confederate Army.
Excerpted from testimony a lawsuit McKee vs. Young. The case is interesting in that
the drift of the suit is whether paroled confederate soldiers have the right to vote.
Elsewhere it is stated that around 200 men living in Carter County served with the confederates.
