Query:    My gg-gmother was born in or near what would later become Kenton Co. in 1818, according to family history. She married Hiram Hopper in Floyd Co., IN in 1835. The 1820 KY census shows a William Whitlock and extended family living in Boone Co., Burlington Township. They are no longer there in 1830, but a William Whitlock, b. 1795/1796 in VA appears in Floyd Co., IN in the 1830 through 1870 census records, and I believe that this is the same man who was in Boone Co., KY in 1820. The Floyd Co. William Whitlock also had a son born in KY in 1826, according to the Indiana records. Apparently William's 1st wife (name unknown) died in Floyd Co., because marriage records show William marrying Julia Ann Monahan in Floyd Co. in July, 1835, about two weeks after Eliza Ann Whitlock married Hiram Hopper, also in Floyd Co.
