Harrison Booth Cemetery

Located in Triple Crown Subdivision
Union, Boone County, Kentucky

 

 

Take US 42 south and turn left on Frogtown Road. Go approximately 2 miles and turn right into Triple Crown. At the first stop sign, turn left onto Secretariat Run. Continue down Secretariat to the first stop sign at Chenery Cove. There is a path just past the stop sign on Secretariat Run bearing to the right and that is where the cemetery is located. Follow the path straight up to the woods on the left. If you come to the split in the path, you have gone too far.

From the path, you cannot see the iron fence surrounding this portion of the cemetery, but as you step into the trees, this is the view.

Note: taken from the Boone Co. Historic Preservation book at the Boone Co. Library, Mollie's headstone was located outside the fence. When I observed this headstone, it was inside the fence.

This is a broken base inside the iron fence, no inscriptions.

Outside the fence, there are many more graves. Most are marked with a fieldstone and surveyor's stick. You can see the indentations of the graves.
