Obituary: SABETTI, Mary Louise 1924-1998, Bullitt Co., KY Article / SUMMER Issue 1998 By Paul Urbahns A Friend Of History: Mary Sabetti dies... It came as a shock to the membership of Ancestral Trails, that Mary Sabetti died of cancer recently. Mary was described by ATHS President Paul Urbahns as "a friend of history and for that she will be remembered." Sabetti started the first cemetery book series on Bullitt County along with Doris Owen. Because of their efforts researchers will benefit for many years to come. Her most current book, published by Ancestral Trails, was the Early Hardin County Census and Tax Lists. Sabetti volunteered to do the census material and completed the Hardin County 1810, 1820, 1830 Census before failing health required Carolyn Wimp to complete the project. She will be missed, and our lives will be emptier without her.
