Scottsville's East Main Street in 1880s and early 1900s

Looking down East Main Street in the 1880s you would see on the left the old Presbyterian Church with the round dome on top.  It stood where the "Kentukcy State Bank" now stands.  Continuing to look on the left, is the "Ky State Bank", Bradburn house, now Emma Johnson's house,   T. Carpenter house, Reemsey Garrison's store, Eli Garrison Shop, The spire is the Old Baptist Church on the site of the present Baptist Church.

On the right: Masonic building (S.B. Follis had a store, later run by Joe Cassady, then Louis Welch).  It later burned.  Dr. Robert Walker had an office over a drug store, P. O. Griggs livery stable; the old jail where present one stands.  Bob welch building.  Just below is the Garrison residence.
