Mrs. Ezell; I visited with the widow of son of Luther Motley who lived in Pierce City MO and she had a Bible which had belonged to Edwin M. Motley and I copied some names and dates out of it. I will give them to you and if you already have them, no harm done. "This Bible was purchased in Allen Co KY from Cockerom book agent for the Bible Society in Allen Co KY and stated he was twenty-six years old at the time of purchase. M. Motley, born Feb 4, 1826, died Sept 7 1899, married Amanda Moody,
daughter of Martin and Patsey Moody, May 9, 1847. She was
born May 7, 1823 and died Mar, 27, 1905. Their children were; John Willoughby
born Feb 9, 1779 died May 15, 1867 |
