20. Simon Peter1 Dobbeck (Martin WilhelmA Dobek, MichaelB) was born in Kokotzko, Kreis Kulm, West Prussia November 27, 1863. (Kokotzko is now Kokocko in Poland.) He was christened December 20, 1863 in Kokotzko Evangelische, Kokotzko, Kreis Kulm, West Prussia.
Peter immigrated to Baltimore, MD
February 8, 1885. Peter declared his intention to become a citizen of the United States 16 March 1887 in Elyria, Lorain Co.,
OH and he petitioned the court to become a citizen 18 September 1890 in Elyria, Lorain Co., OH. Witness: Chas. Schultz
He worked in the stone quarry in Amherst, Ohio shortly after entering the United States. He was a cable
splicer there. Later, he moved to Lorain, Ohio and became an employee of the B&O railroad, working on the docks in Lorain. His job was to
grease the fittings. September 8, 1939 was his last
day of work on the docks, according to his obituary. The obituary also says he was nearing his 50th year as an employee, giving approximate
employment dates as 1889 - 1939.
Peter died October
10, 1939 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at 75 years of age. He was buried in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, Ridge
Hill Cemetery.
He married Wilhelmine Caroline Szelinska October 24, 1885 in Amherst, Lorain Co., OH.(1) Married by W. A. Walter, Ev. Pastor. Marriage License

Wilhelmine was born April 2, 1862 in Borowno, Culm, West Prussia, Germany. Wilhelmine was the daughter of Peter
Szelinski and Justine Schwiegert. She was christened April 21, 1862 in Kokotzko Evangl., Kokotzko, West
Prussia. Wilhelmine immigrated to Baltimore, MD 15 October 1885. She is listed in Germans to America as Wilhelmine Dobbek
(age 24), traveling with her daughter Bertha (age 6 months). Wilhelmine died June 18, 1940 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, at 78 years of age.
She was buried in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Lorain, Ohio.

Warburton about 30 April 1904 in Ohio. Henry was born 18 July 1884. Henry was the son of Charles Warburton.
Henry died 30 April 1905 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, at 20 years of age. He was buried in Lorain, Lorain County,
Ohio, Elmwood Cemetery. Record is on file at Elmwood office?, but no marker was found in July 1993. Buried near his parents?,
Charles H. Warburton and Mary J. Warburton?
She married Theodore M. Nickels 21 February 1907 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio. witness: Auguste
Bretz (minister's wife?)
Theodore was born circa 1877 in Missouri.

John died October 22, 1966 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois, at 80 years of age. He was buried in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio, Ridge Hill Cemetery. He married Elise Louise Pratsch 31 January 1912 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio. Elise was born
March 24, 1889 in Lorain, Lorain County, Ohio. Elise was the daughter of Frederick Pratsch and Anna Catherine Stiebling.
Elise died July 1, 1965 in DeKalb, DeKalb Co., IL, at 76 years of age. She was buried in Lorain, Lorain County,
Ohio, Ridge Hill Cemetery.

She married Harold B. Nichols. Harold was born 04 March 1901. Harold died 02 September 1946 at

Michigan. Amelia and Harold had no children.
