Art Michaelis
Henri Michaelis of Luxembourg and his wife Katherine Ruf of Germany moved to Newbury (near Paxico) from Indianapolis in 1870. They both died in 1894 of pneumonia within a few days of each other. 9 Michaelis children were born of the marriage; John Henry, Henry John, Margaret, Floribert, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Rupert, Joseph Martin, & Geroge Michael. Ernest Walter Pippert and family later lived in Denver, CO. I have been told by a family member that his father's name was William, but have no proof. I noticed the name of Henry J.
