The following is taken from Cemeteries in Sumner County, Kansas by Harvey and Ruth Swan (1983).
"Horner Grave.
A grave that I have been unable to pinpoint is that of Mary Horner, 2 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Horner. She was buried on what was once the Worden farm about 4 miles northeast of Belle Plaine. The date would have been about 1870."
