Many businesses flourished in Parker in the 1930's. Here are some advertisements that appeared in the 1939 Parker Rural High School annual. (We don't have pictures for these. Scroll Down for the Pictures.)

Quisenberry Ad An advertisement that appeared in the Parker Message on July 5, 1931.
Parker State Bank 1938 Parker State Bank in 1938 was located on the South-West corner of Main and Center Streets.
Polley's Store in 1938Polley's Store in 1939 R. E. Polley and Sons Store in 1938 and 1939, located on the South-East corner of Main and Center Streets. Owned and operated by Ransom E. Polley, Herman L. Polley, and Harold Polley.
Tyree Cash Store 1939Tyree Cash Store 1940 Tyree's Grocery Store in 1939 and 1940, located on the South side of Main Street.
Standard Station 1938 The Standard Station in 1938 was located on the North-East corner of Main and Center Streets
T.T. Hope 1939 T.T. Hope for Merchandise, Grain, and Water Hauling.
Parker Cafe 1939 The Parker Cafe, owned and operated by Mr. & Mrs. R. O. Hare, was located on Main Street. A good place to eat and friendly service.
Vinton's Restaurant 1938 Vinton's Restaurant in 1938 was located on Center Street, just north of the Standard Station. This building was moved about a mile north of town in the 1950's.
