WANTED FOR THE KITCHEN: an old-fashioned wood-burning cook stove. Helen can't do much cookin' without a stove.
Some of the items that have either been donated or loaned to the museums in the last six montbs: 48-star flag, quilt blocks, Parker Cemetery Association cookbook, post card collection, Class of 1934 scrapbook, horse shoes, tee shirt, 200 plus Parker Messages. Wayne Osborn has built a doublesided scrapbook rack.
The ASSIGNMENT ALERT in the fall newsletter receives a failing grade. Not one single letter of a teacher's experience in a one-room scbool house was received. A challange is being made to a STUDENT of a one-room schoolhouse giving their experience. Of course, we'd still like to hear from those teachers. Let's have a few stories on record in the Parker District #5 schoolhouse so the little ones in kindergarden will have some history of the early schools.
