Leoville Corpus Christi Altars

Leoville Corpus Christi Altars

Corpus Christi means Body of Christ.  This celebration was held the later part of June with a procession outside with the altar boys leading the way.  The young girls would scatter flower petals in the path of the Priest carrying the Blessed Sacrament.  Stops were made at four homemade altars with Adoration at each altar.  The altars were made by different families.
