JOHN WESLEY TOTTEN

John Wesley Totten, 76, of Yucalpa, California, died June 10 in Yucalpa. He was a native of Kansas, graduating with the Class of 1912 of Medicine Lodge High School and he taught in Barber County for several years. Survivors include the widow, Mabel M. of the home; two sons, William W. of Highland, California and David L. of Ventura, California; one daughter, Mrs. Florence Holland of Barstow, California; two brothers, G. Wilbur of Los Angeles and T. Rea of Bakersfield; three sisters, Ila Bugbee of Emporia, Mae Palmer of San Jose, California and Jewell Hewey of Redlands, California; nine grand-children and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Hughes Funeral Chapel at Yucalpa, with Elder Lawrence Scott of Yucalpa Seventh Day Advent Church officiating.
